8 ways to celebrate Pride Month near Mobile Bay this June

This Pride Month, the Mobile Bay area has an impressive line up of events for the community to celebrate LGBTQ+ visibility and belonging all month long. From Pride art events and pageants to sidewalk drawing, check out these 8 ways to show your support for Pride.

Ways to celebrate Pride Month 2026 in Mobile

1. Try Alive With Pride’s canned hard seltzer

Prism United, a local nonprofit supporting LGBTQ+ youth in Southwest Alabama, hosted a Pride Month kick-off party on Friday, June 5. The evening featured the release of Alive With Pride‘s first-ever release of canned hard seltzer.

The seltzer is available on draft and in cans to-go at Braided River’s taproom, and you can also find it flowing at several favorite local bars, including Alabama Music Box and Gabriel’s.

    • 16-ounce draft pour: $6.50
      • $5.50 during happy hour, every day 3-6PM
    • 6-pack: $11.50 + tax

2. June 11: We Should All Know

The Black Butterfly Collective, a nonprofit in Alabama led by Black transgender folks, will be hosting an honest conversation centered around:

  • Gap bridging
  • Dating in the Deep South
  • Queer joy
  • HIV stigma and prevention
  • What it looks like to care for others
  • Who: Black Butterfly Collective
  • What: A panel discussion ft. honest conversation, community + coffee

3. June 11: Pride Paint + Pints

During the Alive With Pride Block Party on Thursday, June 11, local artist Brittany Taylor will be leading a Pride Disco Ball painting class at The Flip Side in Mobile. Tickets start at $50 and cocktails/drinks will be available for purchase.

4. June 11: Alive With Pride Block Party

The Alive With Pride Block Party promises to bring community, music, and celebration into the streets of downtown.

5. June 12: Pride Artwalk – Alive With Pride

On Friday, June 12, the LoDa Artwalk and Alive With Pride will be celebrating Pride Month with:

  • Vendors
  • A second-line Pride parade
  • Live music
  • A drag show

It’s free to attend, made possible by local businesses, organizations and artists!

  • Who: Alive With Pride
    • A month-long, citywide celebration of LGBTQ+ visibility, creativity + belonging
  • What: LoDa Pride Artwalk
    • Featuring: Vendors, a second-line parade, live music + a drag show
  • When: Friday, June 12 @ 6-11PM | Drag Show to begin around 8PM
  • Where: Lower Dauphin (LoDa) Arts District

6. June 13: Pride drag brunch @ POST

POST in Downtown Mobile will be hosting a drag brunch on June 13, featuring a breakfast buffet, mimosas, goodie bags and, of course, a drag show. Tickets are $65.87; don’t forget cash to tip the queens!

7. June 14: Pride CURiosity Pool Party

Pride CURiosity, an LGBTQ+ visibility-focused organization, will be hosting its annual summer pool party celebration on June 14 from 3–7PM with music, performances, and special guests.

8. June 20: Created Beautiful Pride Market + Community Festival

Cornerstone Metropolitan Community Church will have their very first Pride market and community festival on Saturday, June 20. From noon to 5PM, enjoy a free community event featuring:

  • Vendors
  • Food
  • Face painting
  • A kids’ area
  • Raffles
  • Live music
