Cindy is the Founder and CEO of The Bama Buzz. Previously, Cindy served as President of Alabama Media Group and CEO of AL.com for 16 years.

Kelly Calderone

Kelly Calderone is the Market President of Mobile Bay Now, where she partners with local businesses, organizations, and community leaders to tell the stories that make Coastal Alabama such a special place to live, work, and visit.

With more than 20 years of experience in digital media and marketing, Kelly has built a career helping brands grow through strategic partnerships, innovative marketing solutions, and impactful storytelling. 

When she’s not meeting with community partners or championing local stories, Kelly enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, spending time on the water, and making memories with family and friends. She lives in Daphne with her two dachshunds and is proud to call the Mobile Bay area home.

Ella Walton

Ella is a Content Producer for brands Mobile Bay Now and The Bama Buzz, where her passion for writing equally rivals her appreciation of social media content creation. Before graduating with her B.A. in English-literature from Auburn University, Ella’s work was published in The Auburn Plainsman, The Bama Buzz, Auburn Magazine + The Auburn Circle.

Born and raised in Spanish Fort, Ella considers herself lucky to have the opportunity to highlight the local businesses, fun events, and hidden gems of the community she knows and loves. You can usually find her exploring local coffee shops, browsing in bookstores, or painting at The Bluff in Fairhope.

Sarah Simmons

Sarah is a Content Producer Intern for Mobile Bay Now, where she covers events ranging from city press to local businesses. With a degree in Political Science + Foreign Language, Sarah enjoys interacting and connecting with people across the community.

Originally from Dothan, Sarah moved to Mobile in 2021 to attend the University of South Alabama. She has since graduated but is happy Mobile Bay Now is helping her grow and learn after college!
