Have you gotten a chance to see the Jimmy Buffett Son of a Son of a Sailor Experience exhibit at the National Maritime Museum of the Gulf yet?

Two national publications have and they are lashing praise about it.

What The New York Times said

In the coming months, Port City residents can expect to see more Parrotheads making the journey to downtown Mobile to see the 130+ artifacts at the 6,000 square-foot exhibit, thanks to two recent stories by The New York Times and Spin Magazine.

Here’s our favorite bit from the Times piece, a sweet tribute to Buffett:

“His death, in 2023, left an immense void in Parrothead Nation, as his fans are known. But the newly opened “Jimmy Buffett Son of a Son of a Sailor Experience” at the National Maritime Museum of the Gulf, in Mobile, Ala., will provide some solace and bright memories. While Buffett will be forever linked to Key West, Fla., he is truly a son of Alabama’s Gulf Coast, the region that nurtured him and instilled in him a love of the sea and sand.”
