Dutch Bros Coffee breaks ground in Daphne, the chain’s first south AL location

Dutch Bros Coffee’s construction is now underway in Daphne. The popular drive-through coffee chain, originally established in Oregon, received its commercial building permit May 22 to build at 30943 Mill Lane, located in front of the ongoing construction site of ALDI.
The contractor, Chattahoochee Construction Group, has already made considerable progress in the shop’s construction.
While Dutch Bros has a total of nine other locations in Alabama, the new Daphne location will mark the chain’s first in South Alabama.
The brand’s existing Alabama locations include:
- Phenix City
- 2039 U.S. Highway 280/431 (Opened Dec 31, 2025)
- Alabaster
- 544 First St. N. (U.S. 31) (Opened May 6, 2026)
- Auburn
- 1917 S. College St.
- Prattville
- 1572 E. Main St.
- Huntsville
- 2280 Zierdt Rd. SW
- 4314 University Dr.
- Owens Cross Roads
- 6565 US Hwy. 431 SE
- Decatur
- 1805 W. Beltline Rd.
- Florence
- 3571 Cloverdale Rd.
While a grand opening date hasn’t been released yet, the construction permit expires on November 30, 2026, giving us hope that it’ll be ready by early 2027.
