Fairhope’s new Cookie Fix is now open! The much-anticipated gourmet cookie shop opened its doors Thursday, April 20, to a crowd of locals that lined the street an hour before its 10AM opening time.

Here’s a run down of the new store:

  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 10AM-5:30PM | Saturday, 11AM – 5PM | Closed Sunday

Meet Anna Catherine Smith, the owner of Cookie Fix Fairhope! Anna Catherine is a Fairhope local and has been planning this opening since October 2025.

“I grew up in Fairhope and moved to Birmingham after college, and we’re just so excited to bring a piece of Birmingham to Fairhope, and everyone learn what Cookie Fix is all about!”

Despite the long line at the grand opening, Cookie Fix’s staff were sure to greet each visitor with a smile. The first 100 customers were each given a free chocolate chip cookie.

Their menu offers:

  • Frozen dough to go
  • Cookie cakes

Because their cookie flavors rotate often and quickly, you can view their most current menu on their website. In addition to their freshly-baked and frozen to-go cookies, the shop offers a variety of merchandise, from hats and totes to mini cookie skillets.

We tried four of Cookie Fix Fairhope’s cookie flavors, their grand opening mini “over the top” special, cookies and cream, chocolate chip, and billionaire. All were delicious, but our personal favorite was the cookies and cream.

  • Mini over the top special: Semi-sweet chocolate chips, sea salt, topped with vanilla cream icing and sprinkles
  • Cookies and cream: Oreos, semi-sweet chocolate chips, dark chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, sea salt, topped with vanilla glaze and crushed Oreos
  • Chocolate chip: Semi-sweet chocolate chips, sea salt
  • Billionaire: Semi-sweet chocolate chips, caramel bits, marshmallows, peanut butter chips, sea salt (contains peanuts)
