If you’re looking for a family-friendly activity this summer, movie nights are always a great way to relax. From outdoor screenings at The Wharf in Orange Beach, to movies at Daphne and Spanish Fort’s Public Libraries, there are screenings all around the Gulf Coast region.

We’ve compiled a list of 13 movie screenings near Mobile Bay for your family to enjoy this summer, and the best part is… they’re all free!

Movie Mondays are now in full swing at The Wharf in Orange Beach. To enjoy free movie nights, head to Portside on Main, The Wharf’s expansion featuring a green space, stage and outdoor games. All movies begin at 6:30PM.

Pro-tip: The AMC at The Wharf will provide free popcorn.

Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary at Spanish Fort Public Library with a “Hamilton” watch party! Attendees are encouraged to dress the part and sing along with the show’s iconic songs.

Mobile County Parks invites community members to their free, family-friendly movie screenings this summer. On Fridays, a different park will host an outdoor showing of a movie.

Bring chairs or a picnic blanket, pack some snacks, and watch feel-good movies underneath the stars.

Pro-tip: Movies begin at 8PM, so you may want to arrive early to secure a good spot.
