Real Life Preschool celebrated its official ribbon cutting with the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce on Monday, Aug. 10, formalizing a milestone for the Fairhope school after months of activity on its campus.

Real Life Preschool settles into US-98 in Fairhope

Located at 23800 US-98, Real Life Preschool serves children from 6 weeks to 5 years old, with half-day (8AM to noon) and full-day (8AM to 5PM) options available.

The school has already welcomed students and run summer camp programming through Real Life Camps & Sports, and the ribbon cutting marks its formal debut with the Chamber.

The school is built on a Christian foundation, is fully compliant with the Alabama Department of Human Resources — meaning it meets the minimum health, safety and operational standards — and was founded in partnership with BayLife Church, which has campuses in Daphne and Fairhope.

The Chamber shared its congratulations on Facebook:

“Real Life Preschool is committed to providing a nurturing, engaging environment where young learners can grow, explore, and thrive.”

Leadership + curriculum at Real Life Preschool

McKenzie Sullivan serves as director and founder of Real Life Preschool. She previously led another area preschool to a spot among Alabama’s best, and she says she’s focused on building a culture where kids and families feel known and cared for.

She’s joined by Assistant Director and K4 teacher Emily Corbett, a Fairhope native and University of Alabama graduate now in her third year of teaching.

The school uses the ACE School of Tomorrow curriculum, pairing early academics with Bible-based instruction. Real Life accepts the Military Child Care in Your Neighborhood (MCCYN) program for military families. Parents get daily updates through a digital platform, including photos, videos and progress notes.

Real Life Camps & Sports extends the preschool’s reach

Real Life’s reach extends past the classroom. Real Life Camps & Sports has kept kids from birth through fifth grade busy all summer, giving Eastern Shore families another way to connect with the school year-round.

Congratulations to Real Life Preschool on the milestone, and welcome to Fairhope!
