I remember being in high school.
My mother and I had just finished eating lunch next store at Dick Russell’s BBQ.
And she asked, “hey, want to grab some candy from next door?”
I was like, “Mom, I’m not exactly sure they sell candy…”
To this day, I’m still not sure if she was joking or serious.
Well, if you don’t know, here’s the joke.
The Candy Store was a strip club.
Well, it was a strip club.
It’s being torn down as we speak.
I was interested in some of the comments on the social media posts.
I had no idea the business had been there for 35 years.
That true?
If so, that’s longer than most local establishments.
Also, it appears that Diamond’s might be the last remaining strip club in the area.
And it will most likely get an instant boost of business.
But, this I can say.
No longer will there be any confusion about whether or not they sell candy.
That problem is solved 🤣
