Cracker Barrel announced on July 20 it will sell or close all of its Maple Street Biscuit Company locations. Biscuit Belly, based in Louisville, has purchased 36 of the 52 Maple Street locations nationwide and will convert them into their brand.
This will mean both the Daphne + Mobile locations will be part of the rebrand. Biscuit Belly already has locations in Huntsville and in Hoover.
Maple Street Biscuit Company closing 16 locations
Biscuit Belly founder and CEO Chad Coulter said that over the next 18-24 months, the company will convert 36 Maple Street Biscuit locations to Biscuit Belly locations. Biscuit Belly will have 60+ locations by the end of 2028.
“This has been quite the experience and Cracker Barrel leadership has been truly amazing to work with. It’s been a long 4-6 weeks (or, 6 months) getting this to the finish line.”
