How Mobile County restaurants scored in July 2026 health inspections

The Mobile County Health Department inspected 76 food establishments in July 2026, from Bayou La Batre seafood spots to west Mobile chains.

We pulled every score from the county’s inspection database and sorted them by grade, so you can see exactly how your go-to spot stacked up.

How the scoring works

Mobile County inspectors score food establishments on a 100-point scale, deducting points for violations around food temperature, sanitation and handling. Here’s the breakdown for July:

• 100 (perfect score): 3 establishments
• 90-99: 61 establishments
• 80-89: 10 establishments
• Below 80: 2 establishments

Per the Mobile County Health Department, those numbers determine what happens next:

• 85 and above: passing
• 70-84: reinspection within 30 days
• 60-69: reinspection within 48 hours
• 59 or below: closed immediately

Neither of July’s two lowest scores hit that closure threshold — Grand Bistro (74) falls in the 30-day follow-up window, and Adams Flavor House (61) landed just above the 60-mark that triggers a 48-hour reinspection.
