Foam is one of 20 independent coffee shops across the country nominated by a panel of experts for cozy atmospheres, friendly baristas and unique menus. The shop describes itself as Gulf Shores’ first craft coffee shop, serving locally roasted coffee, smoothies, lattes and grab-and-go drinks alongside seasonal menus and a simple snack lineup.
USA Today’s 10Best writeup highlights the shop’s homey vibe, with couches to sink into and a surfboard collection on display. It also points to a few standout drinks:
- The chagacchino, made with espresso + chaga mushrooms
- Sea salt + honey espresso
- Cuban latte made with condensed milk
