Let’s Ride! Adaptive Cycling Experience

It is an Adaptive Cycling Experience to celebrate the Backcountry Trail, an accessible trail in Gulf Shores.  We want to introduce more people to adaptive cycling through hand cycles and recumbent trikes.  Lakeshore will be bringing our adaptive bikes for participants to try out and take on the trail.  We will be promoting other adaptive cycling opportunities in the state and ways that people can get connected.  Participants can also sign up for the free 100 Alabama Miles Challenge and start logging their miles!  We will have free t-shirts to giveaway at the event. https://100alabamamiles.org/

Gulf State Park is hosting its first ever Venture Out event on May 15-17. This three-day festival will feature a variety of nature and outdoor-focused activities, workshops, and tours throughout the park and along the Backcountry Trail. The family-friendly event is a collaboration between Gulf State Park, the Gulf Coast Eco-Center, Valor Hospitality, the City of Gulf Shores, and the City of Orange Beach.
