Dog Days of Summer at the Exploreum
Celebrate man’s best friend with us on Saturday, August 15, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM for a tail-wagging day of fun at the Exploreum Science Center! Bring the whole family to enjoy dog-themed activities, live demonstrations, local vendors, and even the chance to meet your newest four-legged family member through a pet adoption with Wags & Whiskers.
What’s Happening:
Canine Bark Bazaar featuring local pet vendors:
* Hop Hounds Brew Pub & Dog Park
* Sunpaws
* Dog Days Barkery
* Poppy & Co. Pet Care Collective
Live demonstrations throughout the day from:
* Firehouse K9 Academy
* Mobile County K9 Unit
* B&B Pet Shop, featuring a presentation on the importance of enrichment for dogs
* Wags & Whiskers Pet Adoption
* Exciting live science demonstrations throughout the day
* New York Life will be offering Child ID and Dog Tag ID services
* Holly Jolly Snowcones will be on-site beginning at 11:00 AM with cool treats available for purchase
* And don’t miss Superpower Dogs in the PCI Digital Dome Theater to complete the paw-fect day!
Admission to Dog Days of Summer is included with regular Exploreum admission. We can’t wait to celebrate with you and your favorite canine companions!
*Please note: Guest pets are not permitted at this event. Service animals are always welcome.*
