Downtown Mobile gets its first free period pantry on Government Street

Downtown Mobile now has a free, 24/7 source for period products. A Mobile local, Cypress Bryant, partnered with Period Pantries Gulf Coast to build and stock the city’s first downtown period pantry outside Cornerstone Metropolitan Community Church.
What is the downtown Mobile Period Pantry?
The pantry is a stocked locker open to the public around the clock, and period products inside are free for anyone who needs them. No sign-up or ID is required, according to an announcement post from Bryant.
Bryant built and stocked the pantry with help from Waylon Bailey and Holly Rose Baker.
Where is the new period pantry in Mobile?
The pantry sits in front of Cornerstone Metropolitan Community Church at 1007 Government St. in downtown Mobile. It’s the first Period Pantry in the downtown area and adds to the Period Pantries Gulf Coast network.
How to donate to the Mobile period pantry
Anyone who wants to give can drop donations in the locker located at 1007 Government St. in downtown Mobile at any time.
