Dick Russell’s BBQ in Mobile to close after 44 years

Dick Russell’s BBQ announced yesterday, July 15, that its last day of operation will be Sunday, July 19. They were first established in Prichard in 1953, and in 1982, they moved to the building they currently operate out of in Tillman’s Corner.

Here’s a quick rundown:

• Location: 5360 US-90, Mobile
• Hours: 6AM-2PM daily

Dick Russell’s was open for breakfast, lunch and dinner each day, serving food made from scratch. They quickly became a Mobile favorite.

Dick Russell’s is also still family-owned and operated. Be sure to visit them one last time before they close + let them know they’ll be missed!
