Southern Sip, a locally owned dirty soda shop, has soft-opened inside the east end of Piggly Wiggly. The business hasn’t announced a formal grand opening yet, but it’s already serving customers.

Here’s everything you need to know about the trendy new soda shop inside The Pig.

What Southern Sip serves

Dirty sodas on the menu start at $3.50, with combinations like:

  • The Southern Sip: Coke/Diet Coke/Coke Zero, coconut, coconut cream, fresh lime
  • Cherry Baby: Coke/Diet Coke/Zero, vanilla, cherry, fresh lime, maraschino cherry
  • Sip Happens: Dr. Pepper/Diet Dr. Pepper, vanilla, vanilla cream
  • Delta Dawn: Dr. Pepper, raspberry puree, coconut cream
  • Sweet Magnolia: Dr. Pepper, vanilla, strawberry puree, coconut cream
  • Bay Breeze: Mello Yello, blackberry, coconut, cold foam

The shop also serves specialty energy drinks, refreshers and warm pretzel bites.

Southern Sip said its soft-open days drew a strong turnout:
