Grammy winner CeeLo Green will bring “One ‘Crazy’ Evening” to downtown Mobile this Dec. 31, headlining this year’s MoonPie Over Mobile celebration as the city rings in 2027.
Who is CeeLo Green?
CeeLo Green is the Grammy-winning artist behind hits like “Crazy” with Gnarls Barkley and the multi-platinum single “Forget You.”
He’s also known for his time as a coach on NBC’s “The Voice” and decades as one half of the hip-hop duo Goodie Mob. His genre-blending mix of soul, funk and hip-hop has made him one of the most recognizable voices in music.
MoonPie Over Mobile announced the news on Facebook, teasing the lineup with a nod to Green’s signature hit:
“THE SECRET’S OUT, MOBILE! CeeLo Green is headlining MoonPie Over Mobile! Your New Year’s Eve plans just got a little crazy. A MoonPie in the sky, one unmistakable voice and a night you won’t forget.”
