Baldwin County Animal Shelter is facing a critical space crunch. With 127 dogs currently in their care, the facility has officially hit maximum capacity. To continue responding to intake calls and helping animals in need across the community, the shelter needs to find homes for these pups as soon as possible.

To alleviate the shelter’s high-capacity, adopting a dog right now is incredibly straightforward. For an adoption fee of just $44, you receive a pet that is completely vetted. Some dogs even have fully-sponsored adoption fees!

The $44 fee covers:

• Spay or neuter surgery
• Up-to-date vaccinations
• Deworming medication
• Heartworm testing
• Microchipping
• A starter goodie bag with transition food and toys

The process takes about 20 minutes of paperwork. All you need to bring is a valid ID and a form of payment.

Because the vast majority of the dogs at the facility are already fixed, you can bring your new pet home the very same day. For dogs still awaiting surgery, the procedure is typically scheduled and completed within the same week.
