What is Record Store Day?
Record Store Day was started in 2008 to celebrate independent record stores across the United States + internationally. Many artists will release exclusive pressings and CDs to encourage fans to support their local record stores. Stores also choose to participate in Record Store Day to receive these special releases.
Get prepared to wake up early to get a treat from your favorite artist or maybe find something new to enjoy this spring!
