Four new beauty and grooming businesses opened in Baldwin County this summer, from a boutique skincare studio to an Eastern Shore blowout bar’s reopening, here’s a rundown of who to check out.

The four businesses, Fairhope Aesthetics, Fairhope Fade, Poppy Blowout Bar in Spanish Fort and Beauty Bar in Daphne, are all accepting new clients, so now is the perfect time to schedule an appointment and treat yourself!

Fairhope Aesthetics

Fairhope Aesthetics was founded by Lauren Crotwell, a Birmingham native with deep Baldwin County roots who trained under top Alabama dermatologists and specializes in lasers, radiofrequency, nano-needling and clinical-grade chemical peels. The team describes the space as somewhere the science of skincare and the art of renewal coexist — not a med spa or a day spa, but a sanctuary that honors both.

The shop marked its grand opening Friday, Aug. 21, with sips, bites and event-only specials on services and products.

Fairhope Fade

Fairhope Fade is a new barbershop on County Road 32. Barbers Haley Wright and Dana Pritchard officially opened Fairhope Fade’s doors back in May, but the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce celebrated its official grand opening Wednesday, Aug. 19! Wright brings eight years behind the chair and Pritchard brings 16, and together they’ve built the shop around great cuts, good conversation and a welcoming space. Online booking is live, and walk-ins are welcome.

Poppy Blowout Bar

Poppy Blowout Bar recently threw a grand reopening party under new ownership and branding at its Eastern Shore Centre location, showing off its refreshed space with champagne, local vendors and a raffle. The salon offers a convenient, affordable styling experience, and its menu includes four signature blowout styles along with add-ons, treatments, dry styling and special-occasion hair.

Beauty Bar just celebrated its grand opening on Thursday, Aug. 20 at a new location, 1809 Main Street, in downtown Daphne. The celebration featured giveaways, drinks, refreshments and free consultations for anyone stopping by.
