3 new + coming soon dessert shops in Mobile

Mobile’s dessert scene just got sweeter. Three new shops — two now open, one on the way — are bringing fresh takes on ice cream, coffee and pastries to the area.

Now open: Melt n Drizzle
Melt n Drizzle celebrated its official grand opening on August 28. The shop offers ice cream, coffee and matcha alongside sweet pastries like cakes, crepes and cheesecake, plus savory options including beef and chicken manakeesh, cheese pies, pizza pies and spinach pastries.
The team prides itself on its high-quality coffee and matcha offerings. There’s plenty of space to work, study or gather.

Now open: Real Fruit Creamery
Real Fruit Creamery, located inside The Insider, also celebrated its official grand opening on August 28, though it’s been serving Mobile since May 2025, when it started as an ice cream trailer.
The shop specializes in New Zealand-style ice cream, spinning real fruit into creamy ice cream or sorbet using a New Zealand blending machine rather than pre-scooping. No syrups or dyes are added. The color comes from the fruit itself!

Coming soon: Zaaki Ice Cream
Zaaki Ice Cream is coming soon to Airport Boulevard, promising creamy treats and desserts for the whole family.
