DESCRIPTION:For the ninth consecutive year\, Dog River Clearwater Revival (DRCR) is proud to host the MudBottom Revival Music Festival – a fun afternoon created to raise awareness and funds for DRCR’s ongoing Dog River improvement projects. This year\, the event is set for Sunday\, April 21st at the end of Riviere Du Chien Road (3619 Riviere Du Chien Road) from 2PM to 6PM (with gates opening at 1:30 PM). This year’s music lineup features Red Dirt Boys with opening act Rollin’ In The Hay! \n\n\n\nThe Red Dirt Boys are the talented backup band for famed Emmylou Harris\, featuring celebrated artists Will Kimbrough\, Chris Donohue\, Phil Madeira\, and Bryan Owings. They skillfully fuse a traditional country and Americana sound that appeals to a broad audience. And Rollin’ In The Hay is an alternative bluegrass band that always draws a big crowd and a good time! \n\n\n\nAttendees of this family-friendly fundraising event are invited to bring coolers\, picnic blankets and chairs to enjoy an afternoon of live music under a shaded oak-covered spot on the banks of beautiful Dog River. No tents or sun umbrellas please. No pets are allowed. Children are welcome and tickets are free 12 years and under. There will be food and MudBottom swag available for purchase! \n\n\n\nPurchase a ticket BEFORE April 21st and come by vehicle\, bike\, kayak\, canoe\, stand up paddle board\, or boat and enjoy the music from the peninsula! We will have boat taxis to transport ticket holders from their anchored parking spots to the dock. Pack your own coolers\, blankets\, and chairs. Bathrooms will be on the premises. \n\n\n\nNote* please do not park or anchor in the shallow marsh on the interior side of the point so as to not disturb the nesting birds. We will have signage and a monitor in this area as well. \n\n\n\nWe encourage everyone to carpool\, as parking can be tight! If you choose to arrive by vehicle you will be shuttled from the parking area down the street to the festival grounds via golf cart\, so please pack lightly and be prepared to take what you need from your vehicle in 1 trip. DESCRIPTION:Emmy Award winning and New York Times Best-Selling author Derek Hough started dancing in his hometown of Salt Lake City\, UT\, at age 11. The orchestra performs up to seven concerts each year and regularly features world-renowned guest artists such as Midori (violin)\, Pablo Sáinz Villegas (guitar)\, Yuri Rozum (piano)\, and Chee-Yun (violin). The MSYO is the flagship ensemble of the Mobile Symphony’s education programs\, which have been the recipient of the Midori Orchestra Residencies program and the Bank of America Award for Excellence in Orchestra Education. \n\n\n\nThe mission of the Mobile Symphony Youth Orchestra is to offer young instrumental musicians throughout the Gulf Coast community an opportunity for growth and development by preparing\, studying\, and performing various genres of orchestral literature.  The Mobile Symphony Youth Orchestra provides string\, brass\, woodwind\, and percussion students with instruction from highly qualified professional musicians. They experience the orchestral repertoire and improve their skills by working with other young artists\, local musicians\, and world-renowned guest soloists. Additionally MSYO musicians learn that participation in a group endeavor offers an experience far greater than one might achieve individually. \n\n\n\nThe MSYO is comprised of middle school\, high school\, and early collegiate students through the age of 21. Its members reside across the Gulf Coast region. The MSYO rehearses on Sunday afternoons from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.\, September through May. The year begins with a weekend retreat in September. The MSYO generally performs 5 or 6 concerts each season at various venues including the historic Saenger Theatre in downtown Mobile. Make new friends\, discover the secrets of your instrument\, learn new music\, and just have fun playing in an orchestra! \n\n\n\nCHAMBER ENSEMBLES – Grades 6-12\, violin\, viola\, cello\, bass. 4+ years experience. Instrument not included. Music will be provided. In Fairhope\, we are collaborating with the Eastern Shore Chamber Music Festival.For intermediate and advanced string players. Keep playing your instrument during summer\, polish your skills and learn new ones under the expert guidance of a professional string teacher artist. He is the founding executive of Grand Hustle Records\, the owner of two successful\, urban clothing brands Akoo and Hustle Gang. \n\n\n\nIn 2016\, Tip became an artist-owner of the global streaming service\, TIDAL\, alongside Jay Z\, Beyonce’\, Rihanna and others. Tip’s business interests and portfolio now stretches across a variety of sectors including real estate development\, lifestyle\, technology and sports\, to name a few. \n\n\n\nTip is also an actor and producer\, known for his role in Marvel’s “Ant Man” and “Ant Man & The Wasp” as well as “Glow Up\,” a music drama he will also co-produce as part of the PepsiCo’s Creators League. \n\n\n\nAlso widely recognized for his influence in the community\, Tip has become an activist and dominant force in social issues around race relations\, civil and human rights. \n\n\n\nIn response to mass inequality and the murders of unarmed Black citizens\, Tip began his Us or Else movement where he penned a thought-provoking series of op-Eds in the New York Times\,  Washington Post and Huffington Post\, a socially charged album entitled Us or Else: Letter to the System\, followed by a provocative short film.
