Situated in the heart of Downtown Mobile\, this event places attendees in the perfect location to enjoy the parade passing directly by the building. \n\n\n\nFor families joining the festivities\, VIP stroller and cart parking will be available in the Exploreum’s Courtyard\, making it convenient to attend the Floral Parade\, which begins at 12 p.m. \n\n\n\nThroughout the event\, visitors can enjoy engaging STEAM experiments and activities alongside traditional Mardi Gras fun. Highlights include mask-making\, sampling festive treats\, and joining a joyful parade around the Exploreum. \n\n\n\nAdditionally\, a special showing of Disney’s Princess and the Frog will take place in the PCI Digital Dome Theater at 9:30 a.m. Seating for the film is first come\, first served. \n\n\n\nAdmission is $12 for non-members and free for members. With limited theater seating\, attendees are encouraged to reserve tickets early.

DESCRIPTION:The City of Mobile invites the community to celebrate spring at the first Family Day event on March 15 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lavretta Park. Attendees can enjoy music from DJ Walk\, a performance by the Zuraka Belly Dancers of Mobile\, a vibrant color toss\, and family-friendly craft activities. Additionally\, a variety of food trucks and local artisan vendors will be on-site. \n\n\n\nColor packets will be available on a first-come\, first-served basis.
