DESCRIPTION:Location: \n\n\n\nSatsuma Community Center\, 368 Juniper Ave\, Satsuma\, AL 36572 \n\n\n\nDistance: \n\n\n\n2-Mile certified course (AL22024JE) starting and finishing near the Satsuma Community Center. \n\n\n\nRegistration: \n\n\n\nRegister by mail (entries should be postmarked by August 4)\, online at events.com until 7 AM August 9\, or in person at McCoy Outdoor\, Run-N-Tri\, or Fleet Feet in Mobile until noon on August 8. Packet pick-up and race day registration at the Satsuma Community Center from 6:15 – 7:15 AM.  \n\n\n\n2-Mile Awards: \n\n\n\nWe will be clearing out awards from previous races – award winners will be able to select their award from an award assortment. \n\n\n\nTop male and female Overall\, Masters\, Grandmasters\, Senior Grandmasters\, and Walker (walkers do not run at all during the race).  Top three male and female in age groups: 9 and under\, 10-14\, 15-19\, 20-24\, 25-29\, 30-34\, 35-39\, 40-44\, 45-49\, 50-54\, 55-59\, 60-64\, 65-69\, 70-74\, 75-79\, and 80+. \n\n\n\nSpecial Awards: \n\n\n\n2023 – 2024 Grand Prix\, Corporate Cup\, and State Record awards will be presented at the post-race party. \n\n\n\nSafety Pins: \n\n\n\nBring all those safety pins you have been accumulating in your vehicles and houses to the race so they can be recycled. \n\n\n\nRace Shirts: \n\n\n\nYou will have the opportunity select a shirt from a collection of race shirts from previous races. \n\n\n\nPost-Race Party: \n\n\n\nFood\, beverages\, and awards will be provided.

SUMMARY:Bloody Mary 5K Run / Walk
DESCRIPTION:Join in for the 9th Annual Bloody Mary 5K Run/Competitive Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run on Saturday\, August 31\, at Tacky Jacks in Gulf Shores\, AL. \n\n\n\nThe 5K Run/Walk takes place on flat\, fast city and neighborhood streets\, making it the perfect event to set a personal record or simply enjoy a fun race over Labor Day weekend. The race kicks off just one block west of Tacky Jacks\, right in front of Acme Oyster Bar. \n\n\n\nThe first 300 runners and walkers will receive a custom Bloody Mary sublimated T-shirt. Everyone else will still get a shirt\, though sizes are not guaranteed beyond the first 300 participants. \n\n\n\nIn celebration of the start of football season\, the traditional Team Spirit Awards will be held. Wear your favorite school colors to be eligible for individual prizes! All events begin at 7:30 AM. \n\n\n\nEvent details and schedule: \n\n\n\n\nEarly packet pickup is available on Friday\, August 30\, at Tacky Jacks in Gulf Shores from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM\, and again on race day\, Saturday\, August 31\, from 6:00 AM to 7:10 AM.\n\n\n\n\nGreat age group awards will be given for the 5K Run and Competitive Walk. After the races\, enjoy a post-race party with free beer\, food\, and Bloody Marys for all participants\, along with great music and custom age group medals. \n\n\n\nThis is a Labor Day weekend tradition you won’t want to miss.
