Early packet pick-up and late registration will be available from noon to 5:30 PM on Friday\, May 31\, at the PCP office located at 358 Morgan Avenue.  Race day registration and packet pick-up at the Medal of Honor Park from 6:30-7:30 A.M. \n\n\n\nCourse: \n\n\n\n5K Cross-Country course on the trails of Medal of Honor Park. This course has some of roots\, rocks\, and mud puddles (depending on the weather). \n\n\n\nAwards: \n\n\n\nTop male and female Overall\, Masters\, Grandmasters\, Senior Grandmasters\, and Walker (walkers do not run at all during the race). Top three male and female in age groups: 9 and under\, 10-14\, 15-19\, 20-24\, 25-29\, 30-34\, 35-39\, 40-44\, 45-49\, 50-54\, 55-59\, 60-64\, 65-69\, 70-74\, 75-79\, and 80+. \n\n\n\nShirts: \n\n\n\nTo guarantee a shirt on race day\, you must submit your application and fees by May 25. \n\n\n\nPost-Race Party: \n\n\n\nAwards\, food & beverages provided after the race.  Presentation of the scholarship winner(s).

SUMMARY:World Championship Turkey Calling Contest
DESCRIPTION:Many of the country’s top turkey callers are eagerly awaiting the chance to show off their talents at the Mobile Convention Center June 7-8. The World Championship Turkey Calling Contest has long-time ties to the city of Mobile. The inaugural event was held in Mobile in 1940 at the Battle House Hotel when Mr. Fred T. Stimpson\, the current mayor’s grandfather\, took home top honors.Former world champions will judge the competition.  Male and female competitors will be given a turkey-calling situation to replicate using air and friction calls. Since 1958\, it has granted over $120 million in cash scholarships. The National Finals for Distinguished Young Women are hosted annually in Mobile\, with state representatives from all fifty states competing. \n\n\n\nThe 67th National Finals program includes four public shows at the Mobile Civic Center Theater: Community Night on June 26\, the First Preliminary on June 27 at 7 p.m.\, the Second Preliminary on June 28 at 7 p.m.\, and Finals Night on June 29 at 7 p.m.
