DESCRIPTION:The Dauphin Island Heritage and Arts Council (DIHAC) is pleased to announce “Corks For a Cause\,” a special fundraising event in support of free art classes for local children in kindergarten through fifth grade and preschoolers. The event will be held on Thursday\, September 5\, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Carriage\, located at 1522 Bienville Blvd\, Dauphin Island\, AL 36528. \n\n\n\nFor $35 per person\, attendees can enjoy delicious appetizers\, a cash bar\, live music\, and stunning sunset views from the venue’s deck\, all while supporting a meaningful cause. The evening will also feature a silent auction of original artworks\, offering guests the chance to take home unique pieces while contributing to the arts in the community. Tickets are limited\, so early purchase is recommended. Tickets can be bought on the DIHAC website and Facebook page. Please note that door tickets are not available at this time. \n\n\n\nAbout Kids Art Classes: DIHAC is nurturing children’s creativity with the “Art After School” program\, where imagination and artistry come to life. Guided by a skilled artist\, this class offers a journey through various art crafts\, with each session thoughtfully designed to foster artistic development and self-expression in a dynamic and enjoyable environment. \n\n\n\nClasses are intentionally kept small\, with a maximum of 10 students per session\, to ensure personalized guidance and a nurturing atmosphere.
