DESCRIPTION:Join MMofA for an opportunity to get creative and unlock your power of imagination at our Surrealist Night. Inspired by collection exhibition\, DECADES: Looking Back/Moving Forward (1940 – 1959)\, they’ll have various themed activities for guests\, including a large collaborative drawing called the Exquisite Corpse. In this game\, each participant takes turns writing or drawing on a sheet of paper\, folding it to conceal his or her contribution\, and then passing it to the next player for a further contribution. \n\n\n\nThere will also be a screening of the short Surrealist film\, “Meshes of the Afternoon\,” made in 1943 by Maya Deren.
