Krewe of Young Explorers Mardi Gras Ball

The Exploreum is hosting the Krewe of Young Explorers Mardi Gras Ball, a festive celebration of the Mardi Gras season filled with colorful science experiments, lively music, dancing, and an abundance of Mardi Gras throws. Situated in the heart of Downtown Mobile, this event places attendees in the perfect location to enjoy the parade passing directly by the building.

For families joining the festivities, VIP stroller and cart parking will be available in the Exploreum’s Courtyard, making it convenient to attend the Floral Parade, which begins at 12 p.m.

Throughout the event, visitors can enjoy engaging STEAM experiments and activities alongside traditional Mardi Gras fun. Highlights include mask-making, sampling festive treats, and joining a joyful parade around the Exploreum.

Additionally, a special showing of Disney’s Princess and the Frog will take place in the PCI Digital Dome Theater at 9:30 a.m. Seating for the film is first come, first served.

Admission is $12 for non-members and free for members. With limited theater seating, attendees are encouraged to reserve tickets early.
