CLOTILDA BOAT TOURS-MAY

Visitors are invited to journey through history and explore the story of the last known ship to bring African slaves into America during a special event on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Mobile Convention Center. The Clotilda, which rests in the waters of the Mobile River north of the city, will be the focus of this guided experience. Africatown Experience Givers will lead attendees through the powerful story of the ship’s fateful voyage and the people who were aboard, a history brought back into focus with the vessel’s re-discovery in May 2019.
