CLOTILDA BOAT TOURS-APRIL

A guided journey to the resting place of the Clotilda, the last known ship to bring enslaved Africans to America, will take place on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., departing from the Mobile Convention Center.

Located in the waters of the Mobile River, north of the city, the Clotilda was rediscovered in May 2019. Africatown Experience Givers will lead the tour, sharing the powerful story of the ship’s fateful voyage and the people who were brought aboard.
