Botanical Art #3, Learning How to Paint in Watercolor

This class offers an ideal introduction to botanical watercolor painting using the Six-Color Palette. Participants will have the chance to deepen their understanding of color basics, color mixing, and effective color selection through a guided, step-by-step approach. Techniques covered include wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, and the application of a “glaze,” “wash,” and the classic English “dry-brush.” As students build confidence and skill, they will advance to working with botanical specimens, refining their proficiency along the way.
